This might sound like a daunting task, but it’s actually a surprisingly effective way to declutter your wardrobe and create a more intentional and stylish wardrobe. Here’s why it’s so effective:

* **Clarity:** An inventory allows you to see exactly what you own, which helps you identify gaps in your wardrobe and understand what you truly need. * **Motivation:** Knowing exactly what you have can be a powerful motivator to get rid of items you don’t wear or love. * **Organization:** A detailed inventory helps you organize your clothes by category, style, and occasion, making it easier to find what you need and create outfits.

The process was simple:
1. **Categorize:** I started by grouping items into categories like “Tops,” “Bottoms,” “Dresses,” “Accessories,” etc. This made it easier to see what I had and identify potential duplicates. 2. **Declutter:** I used the “KonMari” method, which involves asking yourself if each item brings you joy. If not, it’s time to let it go. This helped me identify items I no longer needed or wanted. 3. **Organize:** Once I had a clear picture of what I had, I organized it based on categories and frequency of use.

**Clothing**
* **T-shirts:** Located in the top drawer of the dresser, labeled “T-shirts” and containing a mix of plain and patterned shirts. * **Sweaters:** Stored in the bottom drawer of the dresser, labeled “Sweaters” and containing a mix of chunky and thin sweaters. * **Jeans:** Located in the bottom left corner of the closet, labeled “Jeans” and containing a variety of washes and styles. * **Dress Shirts:** Stored in the top left corner of the closet, labeled “Dress Shirts” and containing a mix of formal and casual shirts.

I’m going to start with the camisole undershirt. I’m going to start with the camisole undershirt, and then I’ll add the tank top, and then the shelving unit.
